...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 11 PM PDT SATURDAY...
...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM PDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...For the Heat Advisory, hot conditions with afternoon high
  temperatures of 95 to 105 degrees. This will pose a moderate to
  major risk of heat-related illness. For the Wind Advisory, west
  winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 35 to 45 mph expected.

* WHERE...Eastern Columbia River Gorge of Oregon and Washington,
  Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon, Foothills of the Southern Blue
  Mountains of Oregon, and North Central Oregon.

* WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, until 10 PM PDT this evening. For the
  Wind Advisory, from 11 AM to 11 PM PDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Hot
  temperatures may cause heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
