...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EST
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 15 to 25 kt with occasional gusts up to
  35 kt and seas 4 to 6 ft.

* WHERE...The coastal waters from Oregon Inlet to Cape Hatteras
  and the coastal waters from Cape Lookout to Surf City.

* WHEN...Until 4 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Moderate southerly winds will develop
  this morning in advance of an approaching cold front, and
  continue into this evening. A period of 30 to 35 kt wind gusts
  will be possible this afternoon, especially over the warmest
  waters adjacent to the Gulf Stream.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
