MDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 10 inches
  above 9000 feet with amounts of 10 to 15 inches above 10000 feet.
  Elevations between 7000 and 9000 feet can see total snow
  accumulations of a trace to 6 inches.

* WHERE...Wind River Mountains East and Absaroka Mountains.

* WHEN...From noon today to 6 PM MDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult at times, especially over
  mountain passes and roads.

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

TO 6 PM MDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12
  inches above 9000 feet with localized amounts of 14 to 18 inches
  in the highest peaks. Elevations between 7000 and 9000 feet can
  see total snow accumulations of a trace to 6 inches.

* WHERE...Bighorn Mountains Southeast and Bighorn Mountains West.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 PM MDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult at times especially along US
  14 over Granite Pass and US 16 over Powder River Pass.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heaviest snow expected to occur Sunday
  afternoon.

  total snow accumulations of a trace to 5 inches. Snow totals 5 to
  8 inches along Togwotee Pass.

* WHERE...Teton and Gros Ventre Mountains.

* WHEN...From noon today to 6 PM MDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult at times over mountain passes,
  namely along Togwotee Pass.

TO MIDNIGHT MDT SUNDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 6 and 12
  inches, greatest on north aspects. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...In Montana, Pryor/Northern Bighorn Mountains. In Wyoming,
  Northeast Bighorn Mountains.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to midnight MDT Sunday Night.

* IMPACTS...Recreation in the high country will be impacted by heavy
  accumulating snow. Expect difficult travel conditions on US-14 and
  US-14A through Burgess Junction.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heaviest snow accumulations will occur above
  8000 feet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Recreation in the mountains will be hazardous due to harsh wintry
conditions. For the latest road conditions, call 5 1 1.

TO 6 PM MDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy, wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to
  7 inches above 6000 feet.

* WHERE...Gallatin and Madison County Mountains and Centennial
  Mountains.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 PM MDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Cold, wet, and raw outdoor conditions. Increased risk
  for hypothermia for those not properly dressed for the weather.
  Forest roads may become difficult to travel or impassible due to
  muddy and slushy conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions can be
obtained by calling 5 1 1 or visiting the MDT Road Report website.

Remember, a Winter Weather Advisory means that there is at least an
80% chance of minor impacts due to winter weather conditions during
the advisory period.
