...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SCOTTS BLUFF...NORTHWESTERN
MORRILL...NORTHEASTERN BANNER AND SOUTH CENTRAL SIOUX COUNTIES
THROUGH 1130 PM MDT...

At 1102 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Scottsbluff, moving east at 60 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Scottsbluff, Gering, Mitchell, Bayard, Terrytown, Minatare, Melbeta,
McGrew, Lake Minatare State Recreation Area, Lake Alice Number 2,
Scotts Bluff County Fairground, Angora, Scotts Bluff National
Monument, Chimney Rock National Historic Site, Hubbard Hill,
Scottsbluff Airport, Redington, Lake Alice, Wildcat Hills State
Recreation Area, and Wrights Gap.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
