portions of central West Virginia, northeast West Virginia,
northern West Virginia, southeast West Virginia and southern West
Virginia.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

There is a marginal risk for excessive rainfall Thursday and
Thursday night. Heavy downpours and localized flooding may be
possible.

In addition an isolated severe thunderstorm is also possible on
Thursday afternoon and evening. Damaging winds are the primary
threat.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

On Thursday, severe storms are possible. Damaging wind is the
primary threat. Large hail and tornado potential are low, but cannot
be ruled out. There is also a chance for heavy rainfall and
localized flooding.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North
Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Gusty winds can be expected in the higher elevations and
foothills of the eastern Tennessee mountains, with gusts to near
40 mph possible in some spots.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected Thursday into
early Thursday night. Some storms may become strong to severe,
with damaging winds the primary threat. An isolated tornado is
also possible. Very heavy rainfall can be expected with the
stronger storms, which could lead to localized flooding. In
addition to the storms, strong winds gusts can be expected across
the higher elevations and foothills of the east Tennessee
mountains.

Spotter activation may be needed on Thursday. Please relay any
information about severe weather to the NWS while following local,
state, and CDC guidelines.

Indiana and Central Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms through early evening could be strong to
severe, with locally damaging wind gusts as the main hazard.
Lightning and hail are also possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thunderstorms will be possible Thursday, and heavy rain could result
in localized flooding in locations that see repeated rainfall.
Locally damaging winds and hail will also be possible in the stronger
storms.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed this afternoon and evening, and
again Thursday.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Thunderstorms through this evening will move from south to north
around 40 mph.

Any users of this storm motion must be aware that thunderstorm activity
can be erratic and constantly evolving.  Please use this with caution
and be prepared for changing conditions.
