...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EDT THIS EVENING
FOR WEST CENTRAL KNOX COUNTY...

At 500 PM EDT, The public reported flash flooding along KY 1527 in
between Gray and Baileys Switch. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall
is expected.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Public reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Gray, Baileys Switch, Rossland, Arkle, Bertha Station, Garrich,
Bentley Station, Emmanuel, and Lowell.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
