This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, southwest Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Widely scattered thunderstorms will develop this afternoon and
evening. In addition to frequent lightning, there is a Marginal
Risk, level 1 of 4, that these storms will produce heavy rain that
may result in localized flash flooding. A few storms may also
produce strong winds gusts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Thunderstorms will redevelop each afternoon and evening through much
of the week. A few of the stronger storms will be capable of
damaging wind gusts and locally heavy rain that may result in flash
flooding.
