Temperatures this afternoon into the early evening will reach the
upper 80s to low 90s across the area. This, combined with high
humidity, will result in heat indices ranging from the mid 90s to
near 100 degrees in some locations.
Try to limit time outdoors this afternoon when heat illness is
most likely to occur. If going outdoors, make sure to drink plenty
of fluids and take breaks out of the sun.

...Hot Conditions Again Today for Eastern Kentucky...
A good amount of sunshine and another day under a dome of heat
will send temperatures into the low to mid 90s for most of the
area again today. When combined with higher than normal
humidities, this results in heat indices from 95 to 100 degrees
for much of eastern Kentucky during the afternoon. There is only
a small chance for showers or storms to provide limited and
localized relief today.
Try to limit time outdoors today during the afternoon, when heat
illness is most likely to occur. If going outdoors, drink plenty
of fluids and take breaks out of the sun.
