This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

FIRE WEATHER DANGER.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Northeast Oklahoma West of 75, South of 412.
ONSET...This Afternoon.

DISCUSSION...

South to southeast winds will gust 20 to 25 mph this afternoon as
temperatures climb well above average for this time of year. The
warm and breezy conditions will be more supportive of fire spread,
especially in parts of northeast Oklahoma to the west of Highway 75
and south of Highway 412 where it has been a month since appreciable
rainfall has fallen.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
SUNDAY...Fire Weather Potential.
MONDAY and TUESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
WEDNESDAY through FRIDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...

Warm and breezy conditions are expected again on Sunday afternoon,
especially to the west of Tulsa. These conditions will raise fire
weather concerns.

Isolated afternoon pop-up thunderstorms are forecast Monday
afternoon, primarily over western Arkansas. A frontal boundary
will bring low chances for thunderstorms to northeast Oklahoma
Monday night into Tuesday. Widely scattered afternoon pop-up
thunderstorms are expected again Tuesday afternoon across western
Arkansas and far eastern Oklahoma. Severe weather is not expected,
but gusty winds and heavy downpours will accompany storms that
develop.
