This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated thunderstorms, particularly across
windward areas at eastern and southern municipalities as well as
over interior to western Puerto Rico and downwind of El Yunque.
Stay alert and be prepared to take shelter if storms develop.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding in urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes, particularly across eastern to southern PR as
well as over the interior to west-northwest PR. There is a low
chance of isolated flash floods. Elsewhere, plan for water ponding
on roads and in poorly drained areas.

.Wind...Up to breezy conditions (18-22 kts | 21-25 mph),
particularly across windward sectors. Unsecured items could blow
around.

.Marine Conditions...Hazardous conditions for small craft in
areas with seas of 7 feet or higher, particularly across
the offshore Atlantic Waters tonight. Small craft should exercise
caution elsewhere across the local waters.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone, particularly across northern, northeastern,
northwestern, southwestern and southeastern Puerto Rico, as well
as Vieques and Culebra. Isolated stronger rip currents may occur
elsewhere, especially near piers, jetties, and channels.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Heat risk can increase tomorrow as the tropical wave moves away
from the region, persisting at a limited risk during the period.
Excessive rainfall risk will be up to limited, mainly during
afternoon convection. Marine conditions and wind risks will be
limited trough late Monday. Rip current risk will be moderate
through at least Wednesday, decreasing thereafter.

Spotter activation will not be needed.

.Excessive Rainfall...Ponding of water in roads and poorly
drained areas. There is a low chance of localized urban and small
streams flooding.

.Wind...Up to breezy conditions (18-22 kts | 21-25 mph).
Unsecured items could blow around.

.Marine Conditions...Hazardous conditions for small craft in
areas with seas of 7 feet or higher, particularly across
the offshore Atlantic Waters tonight. Small craft should exercise
caution elsewhere across the local waters.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone. Isolated stronger rip currents may occur elsewhere,
especially near piers, jetties, and channels.
