* Winds...North winds 15 to 25 mph. Gusts 30 to 40 mph,
strongest along the far western Sacramento Valley.
* Humidity...Daytime minimum humidities of 9 to 15%; Overnight
maximum relative humidities 25 to 50%
* Highest Threat...Along and west of the Interstate 5 corridor
in the Sacramento Valley.
* Impacts...The combination of gusty winds and low humidity can
cause fire to rapidly grow in size and intensity. Outdoor
burning is not recommended

* AFFECTED AREA...East Bay Hills and North Bay Interior Mountains.
* TIMING...Until 9 AM PDT Thursday.
* WINDS 20 FOOT...Northerly winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 45
mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY RECOVERY...Thursday morning relative humidity of
less than 40 percent.
* IMPACTS...Extreme fire behavior and rapid rates of spread likely on
new and existing wildfires. There will be an increased risk for
power outages.

Please advise responding agencies or fire crews in the field of this
fire weather alert.
Never leave burning debris or camp fires unattended; extinguish them
completely. Avoid using equipment or machinery that could create a
spark. Secure tow chains to avoid dragging and subsequent sparks.

* WIND...North to northeast winds will increase Wednesday night
to 15 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph on the ridges through
Thursday morning. Winds will diminish in the afternoon to
around 10 to 20 mph.
* HUMIDITY...Recoveries on the ridges are only expected to be
around 20 to 40 percent Thursday morning. Thursday afternoon
the RH is expected to drop to 10 to 15 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
