This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Locally dense fog is possible in some locations this morning.

Wind gusts between 40 and 45 mph is possible this afternoon across
portions of central Kansas.

Very high fire danger will be in place this afternoon across
portions of central and south central Kansas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Scattered thunderstorms are possible late Saturday night into Sunday
across portions of south central and southeast Kansas. Severe
weather is not expected at this time.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, east central Nebraska, northeast Nebraska and southeast
Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Expect patchy dense fog across much of the area this morning with
visibility under 1/4 mile in some locations. It will clear from west
to east and should exit the area by around 9 AM.

Northwest winds will gust 35-50 mph across much of the area today.
Portions of northeast Nebraska could see occasional gusts near 60
mph, where a High Wind Warning is in effect.

There is a 15-30% chance of snow showers clipping far northeast
Nebraska this afternoon. While little to no accumulation is expected,
the gusty winds could lead to poor visibility under any heavier
showers.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

A band of snow is expected to bring travel impacts to parts of the
area Friday into Friday night, with the highest chances (40-60%) in
northeast Nebraska into west-central Iowa. Questions remain on exact
location and snow amounts at this time.

Winter weather may continue to impact travel Saturday into Monday
though confidence in details remains low. Keep up to date on the
forecast as we go through the week.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Patchy dense fog continues early this morning, with localized
areas seeing visibility of one quarter mile.

Strong northwesterly winds arrive later this morning and continue
through the afternoon. Gusts as high as 60 MPH are possible,
main in areas near and north of Highway 6. A High Wind Warning is
in effect for this area from 8am to 6pm.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Snow is possible Friday through Sunday. Exact details remain
uncertain, but overall accumulation is favored to be light for
most of the area. Nevertheless, continue to monitor upcoming
forecasts if you have travel plans.

DISCUSSION...

Patchy drizzle and fog will continue to be possible through the
remainder of this morning.

A frontal passage is expected to push through the area this
afternoon/evening, bringing wind gusts up to 20-30 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

There are 50% to 80% chances for precipitation late Friday
through the weekend. Keep up with the forecast if traveling for
the holiday.
