This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

SIGNIFICANT WINDS.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Along and Northwest of Interstate 44 in Northeast Oklahoma.
ONSET...Ongoing.

FIRE WEATHER DANGER.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...West of Highway 75 in Northeast Oklahoma.
ONSET...Ongoing.

DISCUSSION...
Southerly winds gusting 15 to around 25 mph this afternoon
combined with warm temperatures and humidity forecast to fall to
around 35 percent will lead to limited grassland fire weather
danger mainly west of Highway 75 in northeast Oklahoma. Fire
weather concerns should improve this evening as winds weaken and
humidity recovers.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
MONDAY AND TUESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
WEDNESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Low shower and thunderstorm chances return during the day Monday
over far eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas ahead of a weak
frontal boundary forecast to move into the region Monday night and
Tuesday. Additional low rain chances remain over western Oklahoma
and near the Oklahoma Kansas border Monday night, and become low
shower and storm chances for portions of the forecast area
Tuesday as the boundary moves through. Severe weather is not
anticipated. Cooler conditions are forecast Tuesday and Wednesday
before a warming trend looks to return late week.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms will move across central Kansas tonight and
some of the stronger storms could produce small hail, gusty winds,
and brief heavy downpours. Severe weather chances are low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Additional shower and storm chances will continue into Monday and
Tuesday areawide.
