...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of 10
  to 14 and occasionally higher. For the Coastal Flood Advisory,
  minor coastal flooding expected, especially during the time of
  high tide. For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip
  currents.

* WHERE...Northeast, San Juan and Vicinity, North Central and
  Northwest Counties.

* WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, until 6 AM AST Friday. For
  the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 6 PM AST Thursday. For the
  High Rip Current Risk, through Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
  isolated road closures expected. Dangerous swimming and
  surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip currents
  can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper
  water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Next high tides for the following locations...
  San Juan 12:32 AM Thursday at 1.08 feet. Arecibo 12:11 AM Thursday at 1.04 feet.
  Aguadilla 12:01 AM Thursday at 0.92 feet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. Some
roads may be closed due to minor coastal flooding.

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.

...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM CDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Minor coastal flooding expected.

* WHERE...Coastal Kenedy, Coastal Cameron and Coastal Willacy
  Counties.

* WHEN...Now Until 4 AM CDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Nuisance flooding is expected, with water reaching
  or pushing into the dunes on South Padre Island. Vehicles,
  except those with four wheel drive and high wheel bases, will
  be unable to be driven on the beach. This includes locations
  north of Public Beach Access #3. Minor to moderate beach
  erosion is expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Umbrella and beach chair rental businesses...and residents with
portable property along the dunes...should move the property off
the beach and inside the sea wall.

Walking or driving on the beach during high tide is not
recommended.

...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE UPPER KEYS...

* WHAT...Saltwater flooding.

* WHERE...Upper Florida Keys, especially Bayside communities.

* WHEN...Through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Saltwater flooding of low elevation streets and lots
  is expected. Some storm drains will overflow, and some
  seawalls and docks will be overtopped. Boaters can expect less
  clearance under fixed bridges. Motorists should remember that
  persistent puddles around the times of high tide are almost
  certain to contain a mix of saltwater.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Saltwater flooding will continue, with no
  relief at low tide. The current extent of saltwater flooding
  indicates that the concern for saltwater flooding will linger at
  least into this weekend.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

* WHERE...Coastal Broward, Coastal Palm Beach and Coastal Miami-
  Dade Counties.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 8 PM EDT
  Thursday. For the High Rip Current Risk, through Thursday
  evening.

* IMPACTS...Minor saltwater flooding of low-lying lots, parks,
  and roadways may occur near the coast line. Temporary closure
  of some coastal roads possible, especially during high tide.
  Some storm drains will overflow, and some seawalls and docks
  will be overtopped. Boaters can expect less clearance under
  fixed bridges. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers
  away from shore into deeper water.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.

...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS
EVENING TO 4 AM CDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Minor coastal flooding expected.

* WHERE...Kleberg Islands and Nueces Islands Counties.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 4 AM CDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Poor driving conditions are expected as water
  reaches the dunes, mainly near times of high tide. Some beach
  access roads will be impassable. High water levels will also
  approach low areas along the intracoastal waterways and bays.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
