...FREEZING FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM MST THURSDAY...

The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a Freezing
Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 8 AM MST Thursday.

* Visibilities: A quarter mile or less.

* Timing: Dense freezing fog has developed across the Helena
  Valley and across area mountain passes. Expect dense freezing
  fog to continue through tonight...then diminish Thursday
  morning.

* Impacts: Freezing fog may bring slick conditions to area roads
  and sidewalks. Severely reduced visibilities will make driving
  difficult. Travelers in fog should reduce speed and use low beam
  light settings.

* Temperatures: Around 20.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Freezing Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. Also,
be alert for frost on bridge decks causing slippery roads.

For specific road and travel conditions in Montana, dial 5 1 1 .
