The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Cottonwood County in southwestern Minnesota...

* Until 1215 AM CDT.

* At 1151 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Mountain
  Lake, or 13 miles northeast of Windom, moving southeast at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near...
  Mountain Lake around 1155 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in Sioux Falls.
