...HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, southwest winds gusting to 60 mph
  expected. For the High Wind Watch, southwest winds gusting 70 to 80
  mph possible.

* WHERE...Beartooth Foothills and Livingston Area.

* WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, from 8 PM this evening to 5 PM MST
  Monday. For the High Wind Watch, from Monday afternoon through
  Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Expect hazardous crosswinds on I-90 from Livingston to
  Big Timber. Secure loose outdoor objects.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strongest wind gusts are expected to occur
  Monday night to early Tuesday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution and consider postponing travel
until winds subside, or take an alternate route.

...WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM AKST MONDAY...

* WHAT...North winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected.
  Wind chill values falling to between -5 and -15F by Sunday evening.

* WHERE...Anchorage and NW Kenai Peninsula. The strongest winds
  expected along Knik Arm from Birchwood southwest, across North and
  West Anchorage, and along the coast of the northern Cook Inlet,
  including Kenai and Nikiski.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM AKST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few
  power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong northerly winds will continue through
  Monday morning. Areas of blowing snow with reduced visibilities
  are possible. There may be brief periods where winds and gusts
  diminish slightly Saturday evening and Sunday evening. However,
  very strong winds and gusts will persist through the weekend.

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM AKST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...North winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts between 50 and 60 mph
  expected. Wind Chills falling to as low as 35 below zero by Sunday
  morning.

* WHERE...Inland Bristol Bay and Northern Bristol Bay Coast.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM AKST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects.
  Frostbite may occur in as little as 10 minutes on exposed skin.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Gusty winds will slowly diminish through
  Sunday. However, cold wind chills of 20 to 30 below zero will
  persist.
