WHAT...Air Quality Health Advisory for Ozone.

WHERE...central and northwestern Pueblo County. Locations include,
but are not limited to Pueblo.

WHEN...200 PM Friday July 26 to 800 PM Friday July 26

IMPACTS...Ozone concentrations are expected to reach the Unhealthy
for Sensitive Groups category Friday afternoon and evening, before
returning to more moderate levels by late Friday evening.

HEALTH INFORMATION...Public Health Recommendations: Increasing
likelihood of respiratory symptoms and breathing discomfort in
active children and adults and people with lung disease, such as

from nearby and regional wildfires. Particulate matter (PM2.5) may
reach Unhealthy or Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups levels.

Pollutants in smoke can cause burning eyes...runny nose...aggravate
heart and lung diseases...and aggravate other serious health
problems. Limit outdoor activities and keep children indoors if it is
smoky. Please follow medical advice if you have a heart or lung
condition.

Health Impacts and Recommended Actions: When air quality is

Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has issued an Air
Pollution Advisory...until at least Monday.

The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality issued an air quality
advisory for Klamath and Lake counties due to numerous wildfires
burning in the region.

DEQ also expects intermittent smoke in Eastern Douglas, Jackson and
Josephine counties through at least Monday due to smoke from
surrounding fires.

The wildfire smoke combined with forecast conditions will cause air
quality levels to fluctuate and could be at unhealthy levels.

Smoke levels can change rapidly depending on the weather. Smoke can
irritate the eyes and lungs and worsen some medical conditions.
People most at risk include infants and young children, people with
heart or lung disease, older adults and pregnant people.

else should avoid prolonged exertion.

When air quality is Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups... State and local
health officials recommend that people with respiratory or heart
disease, the elderly and children should limit prolonged exertion.

When air quality is Moderate... State and local health officials
recommend that unusually sensitive people should consider reducing
prolonged or heavy exertion.

The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) has issued an
Ozone (OZ) High Pollution Advisory for the Tucson Metro area Friday.

This means that forecast weather conditions combined with existing
ozone levels are expected to result in local maximum 8-hour ozone
concentrations that pose a health risk. Adverse health effects
increase as air quality deteriorates.

Ozone is an air contaminant which can cause breathing difficulties
for children, older adults, as well as persons with respiratory
problems. A decrease in physical activity is recommended.

You are urged to car pool, telecommute, or use mass transit.
The use of gasoline-powered equipment should be reduced or done late
in the day.

The Texas Department of Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has issued an
Ozone Action Day for the El Paso Area, until 9 PM MDT this evening
and again for Friday from 6 AM to 9 PM MDT.

Atmospheric conditions are expected to be favorable for producing
high levels of ozone pollution in the El Paso area. You can help
prevent ozone Pollution by sharing a ride, walking, riding a
bicycle, taking your lunch to work, avoiding drive through lanes,
conserving energy and keeping your vehicle properly tuned.
