and Douglas

An Air Quality Alert has been issued by the Washington Department of
Ecology for Chelan and Douglas Counties, effective immediately until
further notice due to current and expected wildfire smoke from
regional wildfires. Smoke impacts will be concentrated in the
Wenatchee River Corridor (including the Cashmere, Wenatchee, East
Wenatchee, and Rock Island communities). Air quality in the rest of
Chelan and Douglas Counties is expected to remain good to moderate.
When air quality is unhealthy, everyone should reduce exposure. Limit
time outside, avoid strenuous activity, and follow tips for cleaner
indoor air.
