...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM EDT SATURDAY...
...GALE WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
LATE SUNDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...For the Dense Fog Advisory, dense fog will reduce
  visibility to less than one nautical mile. For the Gale Watch,
  south to southwest winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 35 kt and
  waves 4 to 7 ft possible.

* WHERE...Lake Superior from Saxon Harbor WI to Upper Entrance
  to Portage Canal MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian border
  including Isle Royale National Park and Lake Superior from
  Upper Entrance to Portage Canal to Manitou Island MI 5NM off
  shore to the US/Canadian Border.

* WHEN...For the Dense Fog Advisory, until 2 AM EDT Saturday.
  For the Gale Watch, from Sunday afternoon through late Sunday
  night.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Low visibility
  will make navigation difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible
hazardous conditions.  Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter
course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and waves.

If you must navigate, proceed with caution. Use proper fog
signals. Make sure all running lights are on. Remember to use
your radar and compass.
