  eastbound Interstate 70 to Route 79 near Buckeye Lake. Widespread
  flooding occurs through Buckeye Lake Estates.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:45 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 880.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage this
    morning and continue falling, remaining below flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 880.0 feet.

  Sandhill Road by backwater from the Wabash River.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours

  Mississinewa River near Ridgeville.

.Additional rainfall on Monday caused a return of moderate flooding
on the Mississinewa River.  The crest slowed passed Ridgeville late
Monday, but moderate flooding is expected to continue into Tuesday
morning at Ridgeville...with minor flooding lingering through at
least Tuesday afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Most flood related deaths
occur in automobiles. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges,
dips, or low water crossings. Never try to cross a flowing stream,
even a small one, on foot. To escape rising water find another route
over higher ground.

Even 6 inches of fast-moving flood water can knock you off your feet
and a depth of 2 feet will float your car. Never try to walk, swim,
or drive through such swift water. If you come upon flood waters,
stop, turn around and go another way.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL TUESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Sugar Creek from Near Milford downstream to confluence with
  Iroquois River at Watseka, including the Milford gauge.

* WHEN...Until Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, County road 1090N threatened east of the
  river north of Milford. Recreation fields inundated near the river
  in southwest Milford. Roadways are threatened at Legion Park in
  Watseka.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 18.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late
    tonight into early Tuesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Indiana...Illinois...

  Wabash River at Terre Haute.

  Wildcat Creek near Lafayette.

  Wabash River at Montezuma.

  Wabash River at Covington.

  Wabash River at Lafayette.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...
Illinois...

  Wabash River at Riverton.

  Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.

  Wabash River at Vincennes.

.Several inches of rainfall over the past week have brought moderate
flooding to the Wabash River. The crest on the Wabash is past
Independence and approaching Covington on Monday afternoon. The
crest is forecast to reach Riverton this weekend. Additional
rainfall later this week could lengthen the amount of time spent in
flood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Flooding of Wildcat Creek Park and
  possible residential areas in the vicinity of Eisenhower Rd.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:45 AM EDT Monday the stage was 13.1 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 11:45 AM EDT Monday was 15.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.0
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late
    Wednesday evening.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
