...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...
Neches River at Neches River Saltwater Barrier affecting Hardin,
Orange, Jasper and Jefferson Counties.
Pine Island Bayou Near Sour Lake affecting Hardin and Jefferson
Counties.
For the Neches River...including Town Bluff, Evadale, Neches River
Saltwater Barrier...Minor flooding is forecast.
For the Pine Island Bayou...including Sour Lake...Minor flooding is
forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

The next statement will be issued Tuesday afternoon at 100 PM CDT.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Neches River at Neches River Saltwater Barrier.
* WHEN...Until Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 5.0 feet, Water is about two feet over portions of
Four Oaks Ranch Road.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 PM CDT Monday the stage was 4.6 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 9:15 PM CDT Monday was 5.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late
tomorrow morning and continue falling to 0.6 feet Saturday
evening.
- Flood stage is 4.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 4.6
feet on 09/22/2020.

* IMPACTS...At 29.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding will occur. Water
covers roads in Bevil Oaks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 27.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 8:45 PM CDT Monday was 27.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 19.3 feet Saturday
evening.
- Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 27.2
feet on 01/21/1992.
