This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...This Evening and Tonight.

WINTER WEATHER.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Much of Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas.
    ONSET...After Midnight.

DISCUSSION...
Areas of drizzle and freezing drizzle may develop across portions
of northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas after midnight
tonight. A light glaze of ice is possible on elevated surfaces,
including bridges and overpasses, which may impact travel
conditions early in the day Thursday. As a disturbance moves
through the region overnight into Thursday morning, a narrow band
of wintry mix or snow may spread east into parts of eastern
Oklahoma roughly near the Interstate 40 corridor. This band of
heavier precipitation may lead to minor accumulations, though any
snow or sleet accumulation is likely to remain less than one
inch. Regardless, travel impacts may result from any wintry
precipitation.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
THURSDAY...Winter Weather Potential.
FRIDAY through TUESDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
The aforementioned narrow band of wintry mix or snow will
continue into Thursday morning near the Interstate 40 corridor,
with some travel impacts possible. Elsewhere, areas of freezing
drizzle or flurries will end by late Thursday morning. The
Thursday morning commute may be impacted, so please monitor road
conditions and allow for extra travel time. Temperatures will
begin a warming trend on Friday and dry weather is forecast this
weekend into early next week. Another storm system will move near
the area late this weekend but impacts are currently expected to
remain north of the area.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Winter Weather Advisories continue today with snow gradually
tapering off north of I-70 by late this afternoon. However, a surge
of additional snowfall will work across the Central Mountains and
the San Juans this afternoon and into the overnight hours. Advisories
will continue overnight across our southern mountains. Snowpacked
mountain passes can be expected for commuters this evening and early
Thursday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Mostly sunny skies and cool conditions are expected across the region
Thursday. A few remnant snow showers on the southern San Juans could
produce another inch or so of snow, but that all wraps up Thursday
afternoon. A persistent stretch of active weather and more snow for
the northern mountains and down to the I-70 corridor is looking
increasingly likely Friday and beyond. Steady northwest flow will
keep temperatures on the cold side of climatology during this
stretch.

Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight, however

304 AM MST Wed Dec 3 2025

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Snow will fall across nearly all of the region today. The most
impactful snow will fall over all of the mountains and valleys,
and along all of the I-25 corridor region.

Over the far eastern plains, it will be relatively warm with high
temperatures in the mid 30s, and this will limit snow
accumulations over this region to mainly grassy areas.

Over the I-25 corridor, with respect to timing of the heaviest
snowfall, the heaviest snow will fall during the morning into the
mid afternoon time period in the Pikes Peak region. For the Pueblo
region extending down towards Walsenburg, the heaviest snow will
fall from late this morning through the afternoon time period. For
the Trinidad region, the heaviest snowfall will occur from this
afternoon into the evening hours. Accumulations will range from 3
to 9 inches, with the heaviest snow along the I-25 corridor region
falling in the Walsenburg area.

For the mountains, the heaviest snow will occur over the Sangre De
Cristo mountains, where over a foot of snow will be possible.

The San Luis valley should see 3 to 6 inches of snow, with the
heaviest snow falling on the western side of the valley floor.

Although the snow is likely to be heavy at times with this storm,
the air temperatures will not be all that cold, and winds will be
relatively light. Additionally, most of the heaviest snow will
fall during the daylight hours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Northwest flow at mid levels will occur through this period, This
will allow for several disturbances to move across the region.
However, most, if not all, of the precipitation during this period
will fall over the central mountains. The best chance of snow over
the central mountains will be Friday into the weekend. Overall,
there will be a gradual warming trend through this time period.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather conditions that meet reporting criteria for spotters will
be be near certain over the entire region.
