Severe weather possible across parts of central U.S.

The NWS Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a Slight Risk of severe thunderstorms, capable of producing large hail and damaging winds, Wednesday afternoon and evening from northern Kansas northeastward to southwest Minnesota. Surrounding the Slight Risk area, a Marginal Risk of severe thunderstorms extends from northern Texas to south-central Minnesota.
