Heavy rain, thunderstorms possible across Southeast

A slow-moving storm system in the Gulf of Mexico will bring shower and thunderstorms across the Southeast and Gulf Coast on Tuesday. Heavy rain is possible for some locations. A few of the thunderstorms could become severe, especially across central and southern Florida.

Synopsis: A 990 MB LOW 305 NM SOUTH OF MIDDLETON ISLAND WILL MOVE TO 380 NM SOUTHEAST OF MIDDLETON ISLAND NOON TODAY AT 998 MB...THEN DISSIPATE THIS AFTERNOON. A 980 MB LOW NEAR SITKA THIS MORNING WILL MOVE TO 55 NM NORTH OF MIDDLETON ISLAND LATE THIS EVENING AT 992 MB. A 993 MB LOW 210 NM SOUTHWEST OF KODIAK ISLAND WED MORNING WILL MOVE TO 80 NM SOUTH OF SITKA WED AFTERNOON.
