.DISCUSSION...

High pressure builds in today and tonight leaving the region mostly
dry though northerly winds could still gust as high as 25 mph east
of the Coteau. Min RH will generally be in the 30s.

Southeast winds increase on Monday ahead of the the next low
pressure system that could bring strong to severe storms to central
SD Monday evening.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture content of grasses,
and other dry organic material on the ground, indicate that the
probability of a fast moving fire is low.  Outdoor burning under
these conditions can usually be performed with reasonable safety
precautions, but should be monitored.


The outlook for Monday afternoon...The grassland fire danger index
will reach the low category.
