conditions remaining in place. Surface high pressure will briefly
move over the area on Friday, bringing an end to the strong winds. A
surface trough will move through the region Friday night and bring
small chances for showers and thunderstorms.

Lows tonight will drop into the 50s for most locations. Highs on
Thursday will rise into the 70s to around 80 degrees across the
region.
