...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WARREN...NORTHERN SARATOGA AND
NORTHWESTERN WASHINGTON COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM EDT...

At 611 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Warrensburg, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Saratoga Springs, Glens Falls, Warrensburg, Lake George Village,
Ballston Spa, Corinth, Johnsburg, Edinburg, Hague, Eagle Point
Campground, Scaroon Manor Public Campground, Day Center, Bolton
Landing, Rock City Falls, Glens Falls North, North Ballston Spa,
Rogers Rock Campground, West Glens Falls, Lake Luzerne Campground,
and Chestertown.

This includes Interstate 87 between exits 18 and 26.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
eastern and east central New York.
