...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN SHERMAN...
SOUTHEASTERN DALLAM...NORTHERN MOORE AND EASTERN HARTLEY COUNTIES
THROUGH 715 PM CDT...

At 628 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles southwest of Cactus, or 13 miles northwest of Dumas, moving
southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Dumas, Dalhart, Hartley, and Cactus.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
the Panhandle of Texas.
