Fire Weather Planning Forecast for northern Lower Michigan
National Weather Service Gaylord MI
304 PM EDT Wed May 29 2024

...Very low humidities continue Thursday and Friday...

.DISCUSSION...High pressure is gradually dropping south from
northern Ontario. This will provide quiet weather through the end
of the work week. Very dry air will be overhead, with relative
humidity values lowering into the 20s percent on both Thursday and
Friday afternoons. Some teens may be possible. Winds will be very
light Thursday, tending to be out of the north, but with onshore
lake breezes developing. A southwest breeze develops on Friday,
though still expected to be light.

Small rain chances arrive on Saturday, as a dying cold front moves
into northern Michigan.
