Regional Weather Forecast
National Weather Service Bismarck ND
725 PM CDT Sun Jun 9 2024 /625 PM MDT Sun Jun 9 2024/

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop in western
parts of the region tonight before expanding eastward through the
day Monday. Some strong to severe storms are likely Monday in
eastern Montana, southwestern North Dakota, and especially western
South Dakota. Showers and sub-severe thunderstorms will then
continue tracking eastward Monday night and evening. Showers and
possibly a few thunderstorms will linger through the day Tuesday
in Minnesota. Periodic showers and thunderstorms are then possible
through the remainder of the week.

For the most part, high temperatures starting the workweek will
be in the 70s with conditions a bit cooler north and a bit warmer
south. Temperatures are forecast to reach a crescendo on Wednesday
with highs in the 80s for most locations with much of South Dakota
approaching 90. Conditions will remain a bit cooler in far
northeastern North Dakota and northern Minnesota, however, where
only the mid to upper 70s are expected. A gradual overall cooling
trend is then expected through the remainder of the week.
