A few strong thunderstorms are tracking eastward across northern
South Dakota tonight. Scattered showers are also tracking
eastward across eastern North Dakota and portions of central
Minnesota. Overnight lows are forecast from the mid 40s across the
north to the lower to mid 50s south.

Mostly dry weather is expected across the region for the
remainder of the weekend, with slight chances for showers across
the northeast on Saturday, and across the east on Sunday. Near to
slightly below normal temperatures in the 60s and 70s are in store
Saturday through Monday. Precipitation chances increase on Monday
before a warmup begins on Tuesday, with above average temperatures
expected midweek across the region.
