...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL SHELBY COUNTY THROUGH
800 PM CDT...

At 723 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Shelby County Airport, or near Alabaster, moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hoover, Alabaster, Pelham, Helena, Calera, Chelsea, Montevallo,
Columbiana, Indian Springs Village, Riverchase, American Village, Oak
Mountain State Park, Maylene, Shelby County Airport, Oak Mountain
Amphitheater, Joe Tucker Park, Ballantrae, Camp Branch, Saddle Lake
Farms, and Siluria.
