.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure over the northwest Gulf will
combine with weak low pressure over the Bay of Campeche to
maintain a light easterly flow with generally low to moderate seas
through Friday night. The high will strengthen slightly as it
moves into the northeast Gulf and links up with a stronger high
along the eastern seaboard Sunday and especially Monday, while low
pressure slowly strengthens in the Bay of Campeche. The increasing
difference in pressure will support an increase in easterly winds
and long-period swells and seas beginning Sunday and especially
Monday and Monday night. Small Craft Advisories may be needed
Monday and Monday night for the combination of increasing winds
and building seas.
