Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
544 AM EDT Thu Jun 6 2024

A warm and muggy start today with showers tracking across western
and central portions of the Commonwealth. The focus for strong to
potentially severe thunderstorms will shift to the eastern third
of the Keystone State this afternoon.

Early day clouds should break for some sun by the afternoon with
a westerly breeze helping to push high temperatures about 5
degrees warmer than yesterday. Max temperatures will range from
the mid 70s near Lake Erie to the mid 80s in the Lower
Susquehanna Valley.

Showers and storms will diminish tonight as cooler and less humid
air pours into the state. Low temperatures will range from 50
degrees in the northern tier to the lower 60s around the
Philadelphia metro area.

Another round of showers and a few thunderstorms are probable
Friday afternoon particularly across the northern half of
Pennsylvania. The cool and showery pattern will prevail into
early next week with temperatures remaining near to as much as 10
degrees below the historical average for early June.
