Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
506 AM EDT Tue Jun 11 2024

A trough of cool air in the mid levels of the atmosphere will
create plenty of clouds this morning across the Central Ridge and
Valley Region of the state, along with the Northern Mountains and
Laurel Highlands.

High pressure will build into the state later today and become
centered overhead tonight and Wednesday.

High temperatures this Tuesday will range from the lower 60s
across the Northern Mountains and Laurel Highlands to the mid 70s
across the Lower Susquehanna Region.

Lows tonight under clear to partly cloudy skies will vary from 45
to 50 degrees across the Northern and Western high terrain, to the
mid and upper 50s throughout the Central and Southern Valleys.

The high will drift just east of the region on Thursday and a
developing southwesterly flow in its wake will bring increasing
heat and humidity for Thursday and Friday, followed by a cold
frontal passage with scattered thunderstorms during the day
Friday.
