Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
1025 AM EDT Sat Jun 8 2024

Pleasant early June weather will kick off this weekend with
abundant sunshine, comfortable humidity, a moderate breeze out of
the west-northwest and high temperatures this afternoon right
around normal, which ranges from the low to mid 70s over the
Northern and Western Mountains, to the low 80s in the Southern
Valleys.

Clouds will increase from the west tonight as an upper level
disturbance and reinforcing shot of cooler air approaches the
Commonwealth. Low temperatures tonight will be in the 50s to low
60s or around 5 degrees above normal as a result of the fairly
widespread cloud cover.

We`ll see a few periods of showers on Sunday, with the first
occurring during the mid morning hours and the second confined
mainly to the northern mountains of the state in the afternoon.

High temperatures Sunday afternoon will be about 2 to 4 degrees
lower than today`s.

A few showers will linger into Monday, followed by drier weather
into the middle of the week, and warmer temperatures by the latter
part of the week.
