...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WESTERN FINNEY...SOUTHEASTERN
GRANT...NORTHWESTERN MEADE...WESTERN GRAY AND HASKELL COUNTIES
THROUGH 815 PM CDT...

At 740 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles south of Friend to 6 miles southwest of
Plymell to near Hickok. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Garden City, Ryus, and Plymell around 745 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Pierceville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
southwestern Kansas.
