...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 PM CDT
FOR EASTERN TREGO AND NORTHERN ELLIS COUNTIES...
At 203 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Riga, moving
northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Emergency management reported quarter sized hail 2 miles
north of Cedar Bluff Lake.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Ellis, Ogallah, Yocemento, Cedar Bluff, and Riga.
