At 654 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots, small hail, and frequent cloud
to water lightning. These strong thunderstorms were located along a
line extending from near Silver Bay Marina and Ore Dock to near
Beaver Bay to 8 nm southeast of Castle Danger to 8 nm southeast of
Two Harbors Protected Access Agate Bay to 9 nm southeast of McQuade
Harbor, moving east at 45 knots.

Points Safe Harbor, Siskwit Bay, Devils Island, Apostle Island Sea
Caves, Beaver Bay, Maikwe Bay, Brule Point, Herbster, Meyers Beach,
York Island, Bark Bay, Split Rock Lighthouse, Eagle Island, Port Wing
Harbor, Bark Point, and Sand Bay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect wind gusts up to 33 knots, locally higher waves,
cloud to water lightning strikes, small hail, and heavy downpours.
Boaters should seek safe harbor until these storms pass.
