...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL CARLTON AND
NORTHWESTERN DOUGLAS COUNTIES THROUGH 815 PM CDT...

At 739 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Oliver, or 8 miles southwest of Superior, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Duluth, Superior, Proctor, Oliver, Wrenshall, Wisconsin Point, Jay
Cooke State Park, Irving, Cody, Park Point, Billings Park, Gary New
Duluth, Morgan Park, Spirit Valley, Fond Du Lac, Central Hillside,
Norton Park, and Denfeld.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for northeastern
Minnesota...and northwestern Wisconsin.
