Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

River forecasts include observed precipitation plus forecast

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL FRIDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The West Fork Des Moines River at Estherville, or from the
  Iowa-Minnesota border to near Wallingford.

* WHEN...Until Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Mike Mickelson Park south of Iowa 9 is
  inundated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 10.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage late this
    morning to 9.9 feet this afternoon. It will then rise above
    flood stage this evening to 10.7 feet tomorrow evening. It
    will fall below flood stage again Friday morning.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
