GUTHRIE COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The tornadic thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out
of the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 AM CDT for
central Iowa.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 AM CDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN POLK...SOUTHEASTERN BOONE AND NORTHEASTERN DALLAS
COUNTIES...

At 447 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Madrid, or 10 miles south of Boone, moving east at
50 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is
         likely.

This dangerous storm will be near...
  Madrid and Luther around 450 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Luther
and Ledges State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
