Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Michigan

.DISCUSSION...Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will work
through the area this morning with generally dry and breezy
conditions returning this afternoon as a cold front crosses the
region and westerly winds gust to 30 mph. Additional showers and a
few thundestorms return to the forecast tonight into Tuesday as an
upper level disturbance pivots back southeast into the area.
Lingering activity may persist into Tuesday night and early
Wednesday before high pressure builds into the area for the
remainder of the week. Cool temperatures in the mid 60s to around 70
midweek will moderate back into the 70s by Friday.
