...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S affecting Scott and Clinton
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

The next statement will be issued by Friday morning at 945 AM CDT.

* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S.

* WHEN...Until late Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Water affects many residences along the
  river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 12.8 feet and falling.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Saturday morning and continue falling to 9.4 feet
    Thursday, June 13.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
