CENTRAL LINN COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...
The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for northeastern
and east central Iowa.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN DUBUQUE...NORTHWESTERN JONES AND SOUTHEASTERN
DELAWARE COUNTIES...
At 742 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Monticello, or
8 miles northeast of Anamosa, moving northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Monticello, Cascade, Langworthy, Camp Courageous, Jones County
Fairgrounds, Pictured Rocks Wildlife Area, and Monticello Municipal
Airport.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for northeastern
and east central Iowa.
Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from
windows.
