...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of DeWitt and southern
Gonzales Counties through 715 PM CDT...

At 634 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Cheapside, or 16 miles south of Gonzales, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cuero, Gonzales, Yoakum, Yorktown, Nixon, Smiley, Thomaston,
Hochheim, Cheapside, Westhoff, Edgar, Gruenau, Terryville, Sample,
Meyersville, Wrightsboro, Cost, Dreyer, Arneckville, and Hamon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
