.DISCUSSION...No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at
this time. Winds and relative humidity values will remain outside of
critical thresholds.
Scattered, mostly afternoon and evening shower and thunderstorm
activity will continue today. An approaching cold front will bring an
increase in showers and thunderstorms for Thursday. Much drier air
will filter in behind a reinforcing secondary cold front Thursday
night and Friday.
Minimum RH values will range from 50 to 60 percent across most of
the area today and Thursday, dropping to 35 to 40 percent on Friday.
RH values may drop into the 25 to 30 percent range across portions of
central Georgia on Saturday afternoon.
Winds will be mostly SW 10 mph today, becoming more westerly on
Thursday and NW on Friday behind the front.
