The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Bosque County in central Texas...
  Northwestern Hill County in central Texas...
  Southeastern Ellis County in north central Texas...
  Southern Johnson County in north central Texas...
  Somervell County in north central Texas...

* Until 630 PM CDT.

* At 323 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
  have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Cleburne, Ennis, Hillsboro, Glen Rose, Whitney, Palmer, Italy,
  Itasca, Grandview, Meridian, Laguna Park, Bardwell, Blum, Iredell,
  Alma, Cranfills Gap, Covington, Carl`s Corner, Lake Whitney and
  Lake Whitney State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
