The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Anderson County in central Texas...
  Northern Freestone County in central Texas...
  Eastern Henderson County in central Texas...
  Southeastern Navarro County in north central Texas...

* Until 1000 AM CDT.

* At 828 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of
  rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are
  possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Palestine, Athens, Fairfield, Chandler, Malakoff, Frankston,
  Brownsboro, Berryville, Trinidad, Coon Creek Lake, Montalba,
  Fairfield Lake, Fairfield Lake State Park, Trinidad Lake,
  Richland-Chambers Reservoir, Lake Palestine, Cedar Creek
  Reservoir, Brushy Creek, Cross Roads and Murchison.

This includes Interstate 45 between mile markers 194 and 213.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
