The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Eastern Collin County in north central Texas...
  Southwestern Fannin County in north central Texas...
  Southeastern Grayson County in north central Texas...
  Hunt County in north central Texas...

* Until 600 AM CDT.

* At 245 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. The expected rainfall rate is 1
  to 1.5 inches per hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
  begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  McKinney, Wylie, Greenville, Royse City, Anna, Princeton, Celina,
  Melissa, Farmersville, Van Alstyne, Leonard, Lowry Crossing,
  Whitewright, Caddo Mills, Tom Bean, East Tawakoni, Celeste,
  Campbell, Trenton and Merit.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
